I've noticed a very large amount of "How Do You Make a Dirt Jump?" threads in the forums since I decided to start using them. Since I was free for an hour in school, I typed this up. Hope it answers a few questions. For those that post comments, I know I did not cover everything, just the basics.
A few months ago I ordered a Blk Mrkt Riot frame. Having cracked my previous frame and all the other parts being worn and beaten, I thought it was time for a new build. I've been riding this frame for the past few months and here's my thoughts on it.
Every trail builder has this problem once in a while. You don't go to your set of dirt for a week and you find someone has found your tools, ran on your jumps or even changed them.
Here's a few things people should know when riding other peoples jumps.
